The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Marcos and Bernard went out of their way with advice on any subject. Pool area is lovely. Had a meal there on our last night and Bernard set us a table in the garden , wonderful as was the food, would definitely recommend. Only drawback is the distance from colombo city centre although 40 minutes away was only £4 when you could book a taxi with pickme. On the occasions when a taxi wasn't available Bernard got us a tuk tuk in minutes which was a nice experience in itself. Thanks to all the staff at Saprin Beach for making our first stop in Sri Lanka lovely.

We initially chose Ayana Beach Hotel because of its proximity to the airport and planned to explore Colombo city during our stay. However, from the moment we arrived, the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere completely captured us, and we found ourselves happily spending most of our time at the hotel instead. We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from Colombo’s busy streets, offering the perfect escape for anyone seeking comfort and tranquility. A special thanks to Khalil, who was extremely helpful, kind, and hardworking, meeting him was truly a pleasure. The rest of the staff were amazing too. The food was absolutely delicious; we never felt the need to dine anywhere else. All in all, Ayana Beach Hotel is the perfect choice for a peaceful and memorable stay near Colombo!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made my stay special. I'm honored to be the very first customer in this amazing room. We booked this hotel for 2 nights after a very long trip. We wanted something quiet and good for working and chill. Unlike many other places in Sri Lanka, this hotel has great Western standards and facilities. Beware though, the hotel is inside Orion Tower, on floor 19. We had very fluent communication via WhatsApp and had no issues reaching the place. We also booked a taxi with them.

We stayed there as our first stop in Srilanka. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. There was no kitchen but we knew this before booking. Jason and his mother were excellent hosts, from check in at 4 am till the time we checked out. There is a nice garden at the back and sit out area. Grocery stores and few restaurants are at walking distance. You can easily get a tuk-tuk from the main road which is short walk from the property.

    Used this hotel for overnight stay prior to airport departure early next morning. Arrived late, but great that the kitchen was still open. Enjoyed a reasonable meal and the hotel looked very nice and beachside at the back with an attractive swimming pool. Room was comfortable and was advertised with Wifi. This was very spotty and unreliable and basically didn't work at all for a few hours.

    The hotel was convenient to get to the airport and Colombo. Great view of the ocean and the city skyline from the roof terrace. Pubudu was excellent. He was fantastic at helping us store our bags, arranging transport to the airport and generally was great at his job. Nothing was a problem for him and he had such a positive attitude.

    Very friendly helpful staff especially Bernard the manager very obliging and Marcus the pool attendant was great too. Food was great, we ate in most days as there weren't many other options closer. The hotel was close to the airport, 30min taxi journey. Thanks for a brief enjoyable stay!
