The Old Liepaja is a gem boasting old and Jugend architecture. The city offers many music events on its numerous sites. There are also many catering options in different budget ranges. You can just walk around or travel by car; parking rates are extremely low in the city centre. The most exciting experience was visiting local churches and the underground art gallery near to Rožu laukums. Liepaja is absolutely the hidden gem of Latvia, our family loves it. The beach, the wonderful park near the beach with huge kids playground and places to do sports. Wonderful boulangeries, cafes, restaurant. Also our family loves to visit SPA, so we are used to spend a couple of hours in Liepaja Olympic Center SPA. For an epic visit, stay at Promenade Hotel, visit Asian restaurant "Rīsi+Nūdeles" and have a coffee break at Vējš cafe.Guest review byElinaLatvia - 10.0

I am never a tourist in Liepāja, because I consider it my second hometown since early childhood. Therefore, I recommend travelers to enjoy Liepāja in its diversity, based on their own taste and interests. This time I had the opportunity to visit Liepāja's 17th–19th Century Interior Museum "Madame Hoyer's Guest House", which also has a pub with traditional local dishes. One of largest towns in Latvia. Liepaja has a lot of history and culture. During your stay you can spend time at the beach, enjoy cafes and bars in the town or even go clubbing on the seaside. For visitors who likes music, Liepaja is rich with music. Some of very famous local bands come form Liepaja. It’s around a five minute walk to the centre and fifteen minutes to the seaside park and beach. It was very comfortable and cosy and very quiet at night. I felt safe in the area. There was Netflix available on the tv and a dolce gusto coffee machine! Probably the best thing about this apartment is the standalone bath!!!
