Good location, near big road, but still secluded. Nice cottage on a riverbank with a sauna, from where it was convenient to go into the water afterwards. Well equipped kitchen, barbecue area.

We liked it a lot. It was calm, nice, clean, the cabin itself was cozy and ready to welcome us, when we came. We were met in a pleasant manner, shown around, and then left in our privacy, which we much appreciated. We also ordered a hot tub (for an extra fee), which made our stay very nice. Next time I would take some tea with me, which I forgot to do, and had no idea what the plant that was in the tea box was, so I did not know whether I could drink it or not :D, but other than that all the necessities are well taken care of. We were there for one night, but the cabin would be perfectly nice for the whole weekend as well. In muddy conditions it might be difficult to get there with a regular car, we could go there, even though it was a bit tricky, so that is something to possibly ask about prior to coming. Other than that it is very nice, there were no "civilization noise" nor anything like that, just birds and wind. We liked it a lot.

Everything was simply great. Really nice Sauna, cool Jacuzzi outside (for extra charge), room was really cosy and clean. The area around the place is super calm and chill. We would come back once more, likely during the winter, when it would be snowed around. I suggest you to visit that place !

The location is exceptional ! We were in a wood house in the middle of a private museum to which we recommend the visit. The watermill is incredibly restored and we were amazed but its working. The house is week furnished and sparkly clean. We highly recommend to take few nights here to enjoy the property and the calm it inspires

What a super venue. The gardens were exquisite. The motor museum was the best we have ever seen, the vehicles were in tip top condition. The farmstead was so interesting and the notes were just right in description and length. The rooms were quiet and spacious with lovely views across the lake

Excellent location right next to the bus station. Friendly English speaking staff. The hotel is staffed all the time, so I didn't have to tell them my exact arrival time etc. The room was a bit unusual set up, but everything was clean. Excellent WiFi. I really liked the outdoor terrace restaurant which had excellent food, and some tables in a smoking area as well. It was definitely worth stopping in Bauska to also see the city and the castle. So many people do a day trip from Riga directly to Rundales castle and back, without seeing anything else.
