If you want the most amazing time in chefchaouen stay here! The rooms are beautiful clean and comfy! Not to mention they have blackout shutters if you need to sleep in. And the AC works wonders! And the host is beyond amazing! Ahmed will made us feel like family. He took care of every need and planned our time there. He is very tech savvy and can mark all the best spots in town on your phone. His smile is infectious and he genuinely cares about his guests. I wish all our time in Morocco was like this. Staff was extremely welcoming, breakfast was incredible, fresh, and unique, the suave was gorgeous and offered the best view of the city. The beds were also wonderfully comfortable and the showers were amazing. They helped in little ways like making some postcards for us and letting us store our bags for a few hours after check out. We will be recommending this place to friends without a doubt.

The host and his family were great. He took us everywhere and really helped us learn a lot about the town. We ran into him at a restaurant and he invited us to his table and 5 hours just flew by. I really felt liike we got to truly see what Chefchaouen was like and to know the town so well because of our host.

Amazing place to stay in Chefchaoun. Super close to the Bab Souk gate, which means you dont have to walk too much with your suitcase on hilly cobblesytoney lanes (Coz chef is super hilly). Gorgeous view from the rooftop. Excellent staff - Hossam and Youssef were very very helpful. Super clean rooms and bathrooms, well equipped. 10/10 for everything

The hosts of this hotel were all friendly and spoke very good English. We enjoyed talking with Nabil late into the night and drinking Mint tea. The whole hotel is almost finished with renovations. They reopened in the summer of 2023 after making investments into their rooms and increasing the quality during the previous pandemic downtime. I would absolutely stay here again. It is even better than some Riad's we went to. The rooms are small, but that is a tiny tradeoff for the proximity to the Kasbah, great service, and newly renovated property.

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city.

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city. So much to see and do. Spend the morning on a hike and come back for the market and a tagine. I would like to have had a beer but I survived, lol. Our guide Abdul was a beautiful human being. He enriched our trip so much. His deep explanation of Ramadan was an inspiration. The solidarity with all people and the egalitarian aspects were something that I had not formerly considered. It is a bonding with all of humanity. Abdul showed us the secret spots of this ancient city and I am better for it.

Picturesque but very touristy and an excess of street vendors selling many crafts which likely come from China (are not made locally). Extremely hot when we went in July. Very important to get a decent guest house with air conditioning. 2 days is more than enough.

Yes, it's touristy, but it's so particular with all its blue buildings, in the midst of beautiful nature, that it's a must. Be prepared to climb a few hills! Favourite restaurant: The Twins in the square. Had a few good meals just people watching, and really cheap!

Gorgeous city tucked into a hillside. We enjoyed the drive from Tangier. Fabulous city for photos (all the gorgeous shades of blue!). We took a cooking class at Cafe Clock - fun, intimate and we made tons of breads an pastries. For us 1.5 days was plenty of time to explore and enjoy. It's a little bit touristy in areas but worth the visit! one of my friends thoroughly enjoyed a massage and bath at a Hamman too.

Chefchaouene can feel a bit like a Moroccan theme park.

Chefchaouene can feel a bit like a Moroccan theme park. By day much of the medina is over taken by shops selling tourist mementos, a lot of shops selling similar items. I found that a little depressing but understood the need to make a livelihood from the beautiful surroundings. I found it worthwhile to get up early and walk the streets before all the merchandise obstructed the view of what we really came to see. I would recommend Cafe Clock for the great view and good food.

Great location--close to all the action, but in a quiet street. Great views from the roof terrace. The team running the hotel were very helpful and kind--gave us advice on things to do in Chefchaouene, organised a transfer to Tangier, brought us a fruit plate when it was too hot to go out in the afternoon. Breakfast was very tasty, and the ladies running the restaurant were very kind.
