I mostly liked the hospitality of Mohamed. I stayed in Surf Bliss during the Ramadan (fasting) and Mohamed was always there for you with a smile. I also loved the breakfast in the morning, served on a big table with all the other guests. The room, a private one, was also nice to stay. Definitely recommended!

Impeccably clean room, tasteful decoration, sweet and very helpful hosts, great breakfast... During our 3 weeks in Morocco, we had the most varied breakfasts here, with a mix of Moroccan and international food, fruits, as well as many health-conscious treats. Esther went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. We travelled with our 2.5 year old and she even found a surf instructor for the baby.

I had the absolute best time at Chill Surfer Hostel! The hospitality was incredible—Jawad and Aaliyah made me feel so welcome, it truly felt like home. The rooms and facilities were fantastic—clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh, delicious options every morning, and the location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. I met so many great people during my stay, and the communal vibe made the experience even better. Jawad, Aliya and Zelie were also super helpful with recommendations, from the best surf spots to hidden gems around the area, making it easy to experience Tamraght like a local. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you have an authentic and memorable stay. A highlight was the dinner—you can book it at the hostel, and it’s hands-down the best Moroccan food I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Jawad and Aliya for everything. I can’t wait to come back!

The staff were extremely welcoming, the breakfast they put out in the morning is second to none, though you do need to be aware it’s generally served later, around 9:30, which is perfectly in tune with this laid-back part of Morocco. They did accommodate us with an early breakfast on one day of our stay as we had some earlier plans one day. They went above and beyond to look after us and our children. Their recommendations were spot on. They have an amazing roof terrace for just relaxing on, watching the sunset at the end of the day. It doesn’t feel like a guest house, it feels like you are visiting good friends you haven’t seen for a while. The area is amazing to visit as Tamracht has a life, it isn’t just a tourist town.

The location is perfect, the place has been recently renovated and looks great, especially the terrace. The staff have been incredibly kind to me, they helped me book a taxi to the airport at 5.30 am and woke up to make me breakfast before I left. Due to travel issues, I had to cancel a different reservation with them with very little notice and they were kind enough to give me a full refund. Thanks for everything!

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and...

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

    It has everything you need if your looking to be a slightly basic in needs. Great local market in Ouzdar easy access to the beach, easy access for cars and vans. Nice long Smooth road if your into longboarding and own a boardcruiser. of the best sunsets from banana point ( panoramic spot above the beach cliff side but mostly recommended to go to the top of tamraght village.
