We enjoyed our three night stay at the Hotel Pelikan. Despite being located in a busy section of town, our room was surprisingly quiet despite the outside noise. Our room was small, basic and matched the pictures online plus comfortable and clean. Check in/out was smooth and easy, which included a welcome drink. Free street parking is available but can be crowded at times (although we always found a spot). The wifi connection was spotty. The breakfast was good with varied menu choices. Despite what's mentioned in other reviews we were asked but not pressured to book a boat tour. We elected not to which was fine with the hotel staff.

We've stayed in several places during our round trip in Montenegro, but I have to say that Apartment Dapcevic offered the most authentic experience. Radovan, Mijo and the whole family are great people. You can try local fish, pršut, cheeses and drinks all prepared locally. But the very best experience for us was the morning boat ride on Skadar lake with Mijo. We spent several hours exploring beautiful places with him. I highly recommend this place for all who want to experience authenticity, and definitely book a private boat trip with Mijo.

Apartment was small but great for us. We were the only ones there so no noise issues and we had the outside dining area to ourselves. We were able to lock our bikes to the railing outside. Host was responsive with checking information. Thanks for a great stay.

The house is exactly like on the photos. You have some seating area outside. Outside is shared with the host family. The Lady of the house made us a wonderful dinner. Not too far away from Virpazar.

Staff was amazing, really kind and helpful with everything. Running family business with love! Meals were amazing! Supper was a 4 course meal. The costs of everything were very reasonable, the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. The family also makes its own wine. The area, a bit out of town, was beautiful, is located in the mountains. The lovely stone building has been in the family for over 200 years and run by the family. I felt completely at home. Highly recommend.
