Cospicua - being one of the 3 cities - was very quaint and generally quiet. Very easy to walk around yet convenient to explore other parts of Malta with good bus links and the ferry to Valletta. We loved staying here, this was our 5th time in Malta and for us Cospicua ticked many, many boxes. We were a ten minute downhill walk to the port, so access to Valetta etc was easy. Views of the harbour and forts were breathtaking and the sunsetting made the place very dreamy. Parking was free and easy. No shops near our apartment/house. We found the locals very nice - even the ones that were not serving to selling to us. Some steps are slippery and uneven and although it adds to the charm we wouldn't suggest anyone who has trouble keeping their balance come alone. You are a short walk via steps or road from the harbour, Fort, Museums, good cafes and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the Date Art cafe and Enchante restaurant. Cospicua, Three City Area, in a pleasent place, with nice view, a lot of place to visit, nice restaurants with good food( very good street food also). Also is easy to visit all island from there. A wonderful place, full of history and complementing Valetta which you can easily reach by ferry. Definitely worth a visit.
