We liked the design and how Cathleen and Edward have made the best out of the maisonette. It has all the amenities and it was clean as well. They were also amazing hosts and helped us with info and suggestions.

Balcony outside of our room wasn’t expected so was lovely. The area was lovely too, 2 minute walk from rinella bay which was lovely to swim and no tourists!

Located on a dead end street this new hotel is in Paceville (St Julian) near all the hustle and bustle but also close to the main road which connects St Julian to Valetta. Easy to be accessed and to be departed by car/taxi/foot. In a walking distance there're plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We were upgraded to a room with balcony which was very clean and comfortable and had a great soundproofing. The king size bed & the pillows were very comfortable for us. The 40" flat smart tv including YouTube & Netflix streamed perfectly. Minifridge, safe, kettle and expresso machine are available in the minibar. There're plenty of plugs (UK type) including USB A and USB C near the bed. Excellent breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. During the day & evenings the breakfast area becomes Jumu restaurant which we definitely recommend especially in case you arrive late for check-in (good selection of Maltese and international vines and excellent service). Indoor spa area was very clean and well maintained includes a finish sauna, a 4 persons jacuzzi and a ~15 m/5 m indoor heated pool which is opened round the clock. A decent sized gym is also available in the same spa dedicated area. On the rooftop there's a second ~20m/7 m pool also heated with a great view over St Julian's downtown. The parking available in hotel's underground was great to leave our rented car since since around the hotel the parking places are limited.

    Kalkara is a quieter area than main city but a lovely area to stay. Learn about best transport options - local bus, ferries or small boats, and walking. Check out local restaurants - not many but all have a different charm (check opening hours).

    Kalkara is very special.

    Kalkara is very special. It's away from the crowds but very close to the 3 cities It has maintained its authenticity and probably the best place to stay if you looking for a connection with Malta.

    We had the best room in the hotel with a little covered balcony with a view over the harbour. Pity we could only stay here one night because it would have been a great place to sit and read. The room is comfortable enough, nothing fancy. Breakfast is good with some fresh fruits and tomatoes. It's nice that you can use the fridge upstairs and the view on the topfloor is of course brilliant.

    This was a fantastic place to experience the culture and sights of Malta. The apartment is spacious, ultra-clean with magnificent views and with so many facilities. It was easy to access Valletta and other places by bus, ferry or Bolt. The local folk at Kalkara were friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and this is where we would return to. Thank you Christian for being so helpful.

    The host was super helpful and friendly, which greatly enhanced our stay. Our stay at the two-star hotel was quite pleasant. The en suite room was very clean and equipped with all the essentials, ensuring a comfortable experience. Having ample parking in Malta is a winner!
