World class service for a fraction of the price. Vishnu the manager and his family as he likes to call them are some of the most amazing people we have ever met. They go above and beyond and leave you wanting to stay longer. From when we arrived to when we left the team were incredibly friendly and helpful whether it was recommendations, being both vegetarian they ensured we had enough options or guidance with parking in the courtyard. The rooms are very spacious and clean, in additional to usual amenities beach towels and anti mosquitoe plugs are also provided. What blew us away was how incredibly special they made our birthdays. We went to extend our special thanks to Manish for his infectious smile and guidance,Shweta for her wonderful recommendations and another smiling face at the front desk. Raj and Roshan for all their help from the messaging via booking.com to day to day help. Noor and Vandana for their creativity with the birthday decorations in the room. Neevan who made us delicious breakfast and catered for our dietary requirements and any special requests including the yummy channa puri for breakfast for my wife. Vishnu himself a very humble manager who takes his time to get to know each of his guests with his hands on management approach. All of the team at Maison du Nord bring something special. Other hotels should learn from such world class service. Thank you all for making our stay so special from the conversations and laughter to the best way to experience this island in paradise. We will miss you, this is not a good bye but a see you soon! If you want to stay at a place where the people go above and beyond to make your holiday memorable then look no further then Maison du Nord a second home away from home.

The apartment is beautiful, clean, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly friendly, and communication was excellent. The location is great – close to all the main attractions, yet in a peaceful part of town. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We stayed at Seapoint Boutique Hotel for two nights to celebrate my boyfriend's 40th birthday and New Year's Eve, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special – from a birthday cake and sparkling wine at breakfast to the exquisite dinner on the 31st. Every detail was carefully thought out, and the warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Beautifully landscaped surroundings, plenty of space with sun loungers, choice of water activities mostly without waiting, spacious restaurants and bars, excellent food. There was a choice of over 10 hot dishes daily from all over the world, plus a variety of pasta and pizzas, a large selection of vegetable salads, dressings, desserts, and fresh fruit. The helpful bar staff offered great drinks on request, and a smiling Michael always made our evening cocktails more enjoyable. The hotel was clean, the room was meticulously cleaned by Tazeem who surprised us with towel animals.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Herman for the warm welcome at Wanna Studio Apartments. During our 8-day stay, we found the apartments to be spacious, bright, and pleasant. Each room was equipped with an air conditioner, ensuring our comfort throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials such as a microwave, kettle, toaster, and cooking utensils. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine as well. The bed was comfortable, and the curtains effectively blocked out light, ensuring a good night's sleep. Overall, we found our stay to be extremely comfortable and deserving of high praise, especially considering the budget-friendly price. Herman demonstrated exceptional patience and assistance, particularly when helping us with the safe (which I almost broke 😅). Additionally, he provided us with an extra adapter for the electrical outlet. The apartments are conveniently located near grocery stores and charming cafes and stunning Mon Choisy Beach. The property was small - only 22 rooms. The rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. The staff were extremely nice and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure. Le Skippers restaurant, on the property served great breakfast. We dined there several times and the meals were very good. They also made excellent cocktails which were perfect to have while watching the sunset over the ocean.

Great stay in a boutique hotel! The reality coincided with expectations: the hotel is cozy, well-groomed, beautiful. The rooms are different, but each has a terrace or balcony. Our room had a kitchenette which was very convenient. The hotel staff is attentive, we felt cared for every day. The beach area is clean, sandy bottom, convenient entrance for swimming, plenty of space for walking. We recommend to everyone.

    An ideal spot away from the bustle of Grand Baie. Perfect for couples. There is a large public beach a few minutes walk away which has all the local facilities. Beach shacks selling local food and fresh fruit juices. The local people were all very friendly and the taxi rank nearby was ideal for planning trips.

    We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years...

    We have been coming to Pointe aux Cannoniers for many years and each time it gets even better. A few more cafes and restaurants seem to pop up each time we visit , which is a welcome surprise . The local bus service is excellent during the day , as it takes you either to Grand Baie in one direction in about 10 minutes ( busier , more shops , a big supermarket called Super-U where we stock up on food and drink ) , or Mon Choisy beach or Trou aux Biches in the other direction . We feel Pointe aux Cannoniers is a lot quieter than Grand Baie which suits us better .

    Breakfast is undercover alongside the pool which was a comfortable relaxing setting to start the day. Both service and food were great, there was plenty to choose from during our four day break. We prefer smaller boutique hotels and this lived up to our expectations based on previous reviews from the majority of guests. For transport on the island we either walked or used the new metro and local busses which is very economical and all part of the experience!

    The hotel was lovely, two pools perfect for families (one ideal for the younger kids). Our 2 bed apartment was perfect, bedding comfortable and the food (half board, dined at Frangipani) was great - a selection of local and international cuisine. Free use of paddleboat was good fun. What we loved most was the staff, all so warm and friendly to us and our 3 kids. We have stayed in a few hotels on the island and we would come back here.
