    Great for relaxation. Beautiful, serene, welcoming.

    Great for relaxation. Beautiful, serene, welcoming. Splendid for scuba divers or paddle boarders. Practically zero night life. Careful: too many dangerous dogs roaming around everywhere in Mauritius (not just on this beach) make nightly walks ghastly and horrifying - I got attacked multiple times! I had to fight for my safety and health and fend the feral beasts off! That’s a harrowing experience you don’t want on your holiday. The government should tackle this serious problem ASAP!

    Absolutely lovely, loved my time at Troux Aux Biches.

    Absolutely lovely, loved my time at Troux Aux Biches. The sand is soft compared to other beaches that I've been in Mauritius. The atmosphere was not crowded , which is good for me as I have society anxiety. Got breathtaking pics of the sunset xx can't wait to comeback xx !!!

    The staff was great except for few in the restaurant but I want to believe it was because of the language barrier.transport was organised for us which made things more easier for us,we had aunt Cind organising the activities for us and uncle Vick chauffeuring us.it was a great stay.

    Nice public beach with reasonable snorkelling.

    Nice public beach with reasonable snorkelling. A handy supermarket, an ATM, post office and a few tourist shops and small restaurants and a couple of diving centres. A good base for exploring the northern part of the island, including the botanic gardens.

    Loved the location right on the beach.

    Loved the location right on the beach. The property is kept immaculate with so much to offer. A beautiful swimming pool. Staff are super friendly. Very Spacious rooms and we were kindly given and upgrade. The breakfast selection was great. Beautiful sunset and walks on the beach. Would go back in a heart beat.

    The location is perfect in terms of travelling around...

    The location is perfect in terms of travelling around Mauritius. We stayed for 5 days and saw most of the country. The beach was beautiful and clean. The waters calm and the sunset incredible. We felt safe walking on the beach even at 10pm.

    I felt soooo good in this place- like a part of family! Location is perfect- 5 mins walk to the beach, nice restaurants nearby. Next door there is a coffee shop, where you can eat delicious breakfast. Tried almost everything during my stay and it was yummy! In this place you have everything what you need, you can cook by yourself if you like, also there is a fridge and free washing machine to use which helps a lot. Definitely would come back again!

    I had a beautiful stay in La Tonnelle Guest House. It's very cosy place with nice clean rooms, restaurant, massage and diving center. Hostesses Valerie and Hans were amazing and really made me feel like home. Very welcome and warm. They handled all my requests with care. Outside área is amazing with beautiful Trou aux Biches. There are also few shops and restaurants around which make this área very convenient. I do really recommend this place!!!

    The size of the apartment is good: large living room, large bedroom, large balcony. The couch to sit on during the day is comfortable. Plenty of parking space. The location is okay as it is near the beach, but you really need a car to go to Grand Baie. Apart from the beach, there isn't much around. There are some restaurants, corner shops and a diving centre. Wifi is fast. Communication with the hotel via WhatsApp is good.

    It was perfect as we all had our own en suite bathrooms. Rooms were fully equipped with air con facilities. It was a great central location (walking distance) to the beaches but also a supermarket and restaurants. We had a boulangerie right next door which was perfect for fresh bread and cake in the morning. It was a peaceful stay after a busy day of exploring :)
