For the owner and the comfort we had , We would comme back gladly to this place.They made sure we arrive and left safe the island (they kept asking us our arrival and departure schedule),they made the rezervation for the speed boat when we left (a very useful thing because a lot of people didn't have room on the boat, just the ones with rezervations)The room and the whole property were very clean and organised, breackfast delicious, the bikini beach is not too far, plenty of shops to buy snacks and refreshments for your stay at the beach, restaurant are close by the property. What really amazed us was that everything is at a very reasonable price, so if you plan a budget vacation, this is the place to go. The people on the island are extremely friendly and helpful, and you never have the feeling that they are forcing you to buy anything, and you don't even have to bargain too much because they are giving you a huge discount if you buy more stuff. Rasdu View Inn, thank you for this amazing vacation.

I visited Veligandu as a solo traveler for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I never once felt alone. The staff made me feel like I was among friends – they were incredibly kind and treated me with such warmth and care that I felt extra special throughout my stay. It truly felt like I had a second family there.
The daily itineraries were packed with exciting activities – I had the chance to go snorkeling, join a dolphin cruise, and more. Every day brought something new, and I loved being able to choose how I spent my time. The dining options were plentiful, and every meal was delicious. A highlight for me was the teppanyaki restaurant – the Teperniak Chef MrZ Francis was amazing! Because it was my birthday, they even put on a whole show for me, making the experience unforgettable.
Evenings were just as lively as the days. There was always something happening – one night it was jazz, and another night was 80s disco, which was by far my favorite! The entertainment and atmosphere were perfect.
The food was exceptional at all times – from the breakfast selection to lunch, dinner, and even the snacks by the beach. I savored every bite and truly enjoyed every second of my stay. Initially, I booked for three nights thinking I might get bored, but by the end, I wished I had stayed for a week!
I also want to give a special shoutout to the diving team. Miss Sarah, Mr. Misbah, and the absolute star, Julia, took care of me from start to finish. Julia, in particular, was incredibly comforting and made sure I felt at ease all day.
I wholeheartedly recommend Veligandu – not just for the breathtaking location but for the people who make it truly special. This will not be my last visit! I can’t wait to return with my loved ones to share this magical place with them.

Everything was amazing! This is our first stay in Maldives and we definitely want to come back! The room was very clean and beautiful. Staffs would come to clean our room twice a day!! Food is a variety of international buffet three meals a day and very delicious.
The house reef in front of our room is beyond expectation. We snorkel everyday (4 days) and found this huge school of fishes just right in front of our room (around snorkel station no.7, image attached), we even saw reef sharks and sting ray just by snorkeling! Scuba diving here was also spectacular. Madivaru is very beautiful and indeed a famous dive site. Staffs of the diving center was very accommodating and took care of us very well.
This resort is self-sustainable and still very rich in nature. We happily pay environmental taxes if the resort would keep up to this high level of environmental preservation.

The guesthouse felt like home, and I can’t thank Jafar, Shahan, Adam, Kenan, and the rest of the staff enough for making it so special. They took care of everything, from organizing activities to every little detail. The place is clean, comfortable, and has such a welcoming vibe. Although the island is super small, the guesthouse's location is perfect, close to both the beach and the pier. If you’re going to Rasdhoo for lifetime memories and meeting amazing people, this is the right place to be!

It is a small and quiet local island.
It is a small and quiet local island. It is visible that the islanders are poor and they have to make a lot of things themselves, but it exactly the beauty of this because they can live a simple and good life! The bikini beach (which is the only beach on the island where you can wear normal swimsuit) is really beautiful and full of sea life. It is also pretty big so there is plenty of space for everyone. I like also how they play football every evening and enjoy it as well! People are very friendly and they understand a fair good amount of english. There is also a hospital with 2 pharmacies on the island as well as a big police department. There is also one very good restaurant (LemonDrop) and a lot of small shops with groceries and souvenirs. You can also find a lot of diving or snorkeling facilities which offer all sorts of trips and activities.

The charm of local islands lies in the ability to enjoy both the local culture and the stunning nature of the Maldives. In this regard, Rasdhoo is the ideal place. It's a community where ordinary people live in close proximity, contributing to its authentic vibe. The island boasts a sufficient number of restaurants that offer a variety of good food, including Maldivian, Indian, and Italian cuisines, all at reasonable prices. Even during Ramadan, some restaurants remained open. Shopping in the local supermarkets is also a pleasant experience. While the serving of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited, we were able to enjoy perfect espressos in multiple locations.

We didn't like it on the island, a lot of garbage everywhere and a lot of broken glass on the beach. The locals are friendly, so we thank them for taking our suitcases to the accommodation, because the host gave us a hard time.

There is nothing to do there as the beach is small, water is very shallow and the reef is not amazing. Shallow Lagoon restaurant is good and not expensive with the decent variety of dishes. Only for a short stay.

From being met in Male airport and being escorted to the Kuramathi lounge in the seaplane terminal and everything after, was perfect. Our room (Superior beach villa) looked out over the reef and was steps away from pristine white sands with ample loungers for all villas. The resort and area of our room felt very tranquil. We had reservations about being on the 'older' part of the island but would return to the same room in a heartbeat. The buffet meals were excellent, full of flavour, choice and not at all repetitive. Our meal at The Reef was fabulous too. The staff on the 2 snorkeling trips were very informative and considerate of the welfare of the animals and the coral. We managed to see whale shark and Manta Rays on the 2 trips we did and a turtle, lion fish and lots of baby sharks, on the house reef. The buggy service around the resort is good as it is a large island. We will definitely return.

Absolutely the best place to stay on the Island. Well kept and a lovely garden. The owner, Mr Nixaam will go out of his way to make your stay perfect😊 He arranged everything for us- even arranged a barbecue for us at Christmas night. We went nigh-fishing and caught our own fish for the barbecue! A great and unforgettable experience! We highly recommend Beach Cottage- mostly because of its owner. So if you enjoy comfort go to Beach Cottage. We hope to come back to his new hotel which he plans to build at the Bikini Beach 👌🏻

The hotel definitely deserves the 5* rating. Everything from the very beginning to the end was perfect except for the weather (but no one can influence that). Our villa on the water was very luxurious and comfortable. During the entire stay, Zaha watched over us, she was a wonderful host, the best we have ever had. She took great care to make sure we had everything we needed. The food at the hotel was delicious and varied. A large selection of alcohol was also available.

The hotel was great and in a good location, very close to the sea, where there is a great cafe. The host picked us up from the port and drove us directly to the hotel, arranged trips to the nearby islands, and the sand bank. We had half board and the food was excellent, both for breakfast and for dinner. It was always chosen from the menu they had prepared for us.

Rasdu view was comfortable and clean. The room was bigger than we expected. Very close to bikini beach - 3 minute walk. Staff were very helpful. Contact before arrival was very good. All my queries were answered promptly. We were collected at the jetty on arrival and taken back on departure day. Easy stay and very homely.
