The area seems nice, but very secluded.
The area seems nice, but very secluded. It’s a tiny little pueblito, small food stands and tiny markets, all which would’ve been ok had I not experienced a scary situation at the Aldea Huasteca Hotel- part of the excursions that go by the same name(Aldea Huasteca-Ruta Huasteca)That horrible experience made me realize that I was far from any hospital, clinics, or law enforcement in case of dangerous situations like the one I had found myself in. I was traveling with my mom; two lone females, and decided to instead make the 2hr drive to El Naranjo instead. The road to get there was very bumpy, but closer to the waterfalls we wanted to see, as well as all aforementioned facilities.Guest review byVeronicaUnited States
