Really great and interesting city. Lot's of places to eat, really fun to walk around and see all of the layered architecture, awesome people watching, and the zocalo / jardin was a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the culture. We have visited many cities in Mexico but Guanajuato is definitely our favorite! It is a beautiful city, with colorful houses built on the hills throughout the valley. Cars drive under the city through tunnels so the historic center is all walking streets. The streets meander throughout the city center, creating a world of unlimited adventure for anyone who likes to walk and explore. Musicians playing everywhere! Fabulous restaurants! Walk all over this beautiful city!
Walk all over this beautiful city! Enterbel Teatro Juárez, take ttevfujicular to el Pípila, visit the Diego Rivera house museum. Check out the Don Quixote museum as well as the museum of las momias. Visit the alleyway of the kiss, dine at one of the many great restaurants on Pósito. Take a taxi through the underground tunnels, visit the plazas at night for live music, try some ice cream, book a private tour guide to walk around everywhere with you on Trip Advisor.Guest review byMarie - 10.0

There is a Soriana grocery store and two nice restaurants just a few steps from the front door. This trip my friends and I were on the third floor with nice balconies overlooking the city. Luckily the previous guests in our room checked out at 4am that morning so Olga kindly arranged for us to rest in the room after we arrived without any extra charge.
