It was an amazing experience!! We had Ryan as our guide, lucky us! He was always concerned that we could see as many animals as possible, and he could spot animals with great ease. We saw 4 out of 5 of the Big Five thanks to his determination! one of the best accommodations I had on Borneo. Rooms were large, spacious and clean. Bed and breakfast were also fine. The highlight, however, was the friendliness of the hosts, especially the two sons. When the elephants were nearby, I was informed immediately and they went with me straight away. The boat tours (since I was there in December, these were even private tours) were very good and there was a lot of information about the animals. I can highly recommend this accommodation and the accommodation is much more personal than the resorts or large providers. I would come back immediately.

It's very cost-effective. The owner of the house is very enthusiastic. I highly recommend jungle river. If I come again, I will bring more fishing rods to fish! The resort is very well managed. Host is super friendly and we felt well taken care of, including delicious meals, great experiences on outdoor activities and the cozy room. Although the resort located in the middle of the mountain, everything is in good condition and very clean.

This is such an amazing place. The location is amazing surrounded by the jungle and the river. The staff was extremely thoughtful. Their coffee was good. The food was probably the best I have had during my whole Borneo trip. The cruises are great. Saw many wildlife including a wild Orangutan.. So amazing to be there. It has a cosy and homely vibe to it. I would definitely come back if I get the chance.

We liked the hotel - it was basic but definitely clean and comfortable to stay a few days. Internet is not amazing if you plan on working but it is the perfect place to be offline anyways. The best thing are the tours with Jaidi. We saw so many beautiful animals and had 3 amazing days. He’s very knowledgeable and cares a lot about the environment and people in that area. I can highly recommend staying there and booking the All-inclusive Kinabatangan river tours.
