    A very large and modern city.

    A very large and modern city. The malls are very large and clean. Allow plenty of time to travel between locations because the traffic is very heavy in certain places and times. There's plenty to do for those who want to sight see or go shopping. I would class KL as F&F ( Food and Fashion ). The prices are very reasonable and a great selection of items for those on a budget or for those on a spending spree. Genting Highlands is a must! The kids will think they're in heaven so will the adults and the aquarium is one of the best we have seen. The Twin towers have to be seen in real life in order to appreciate the majestic marvels.

    We had been in KL twice before.

    We had been in KL twice before. The city has a certain flair and functions well, but I still don't really get warm with it. Walking is extremely difficult and not just because of the heat and humidity. Sidewalks are tiny, if existent. There are frequent detours around shops, malls, with long phases of red lights on corners. Everything time consuming and not so pleasant. I will say that visiting the Petronas Towers still impresses me - you see the vast dimensions of the city.

    If you have any breathing issues, be aware of this location.

    If you have any breathing issues, be aware of this location. I suffer with asthma and went to hospital 9 times, three via ambulance. The AQI is very high, (82), and pollution is a struggle for people like me. I wish I had researched before making this trip! Do your homework.

    Kuala Lumpur is an exciting, vibrant and modern city and well worth the visit. But this is a note of caution.... Everyone uses Grab to get around - and it's so easy. DO NOT BOOK A TAXI OR A SHUTTLE AT THE AIRPORT! And definitely DO NOT BOOK THE RETURN TRIP AT THE SAME TIME!!!! This is a known scam. We paid MYR230 each way to Bukit Bintang whereas a Grab is under MYR100. Our return taxi never showed up at the hotel. And after waiting 45 minutes, we had no choice but to book a Grab. Thank you to the hotel staff for helping us. Our Grab showed up in 30 seconds! And he got us to the airport in 40 minutes which must be a record, and not quite legal. Thank you Samir! So, use Grab - anyone with a mobile in KL will have the app - and will call one for you. Hope this saves you being ripped off.

    we spent 2 day in kl, Batu caves , Veer hanuman temple in morning check in Sky suites rest for 2 hours evening went to 2 more temple then night view of Twin tower back to sky suites rest well at night next day check out and went to court vinayar temple, , kl tower and istana negara and back to singapore

    Hotel Transit is a fantastic budget-friendly option for staying close to the Bukit Bintang area. It's within walking distance of public transportation, Petaling Street, Jalan Alor, Low yat Plaza and Mydin. There are plenty of nearby dining choices, including local eateries, 7-Eleven, Buka 24 Jam and popular chains like Texas Chicken. Our room featured a glass wall with views of the KL Tower and PETRONAS Towers. Highly recommend it to other travellers.
