The Double with Seaview is properly the best for privacy and separation from the main decks. The people - Tone, Helene, Joy, June and Ping. Amazing good people who made the trip more personal. Thank you, I will always remember you. Lots of turtles around lodge at night. Broken shower water heater was replaced quick smart when issue was encountered. Three meals a day included - Malaysian style home cooking, plus they are open to cook catch from passing fishermen who visit - for a fee. Healthy snorkelling coral sites with lots of fish and turtles.

Very homey place to stay and do some great diving while in Mabul. The owner is very friendly and nice to chat with. He's also very passionate about marine life, so a great person to guide your underwater exploration. The sunset views are epic, food is good, staff are friendly and diving affordable. We also really liked our authentic 'neighborhood' on stilts and all the turtles we spotted from the deck :) Would come back here when returning to Mabul!

We had a wonderful stay at Parapat Water Village Resort. The chalet was nice and clean, and the food was delicious. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and we truly appreciated the hospitality.

Timba Gardens are beautifully located in a small village outside Semporna, in about 15 min drive you reach the city. Staff was super welcoming and friendly, transport worked perfectly. The driver even gave me some really nice restaurant recommendations! Rooms were clean and spacious. Good breakfast, there's fresh water, coffee and tea available.
