Everything was new, clean, and well organized - I was really impressed by the dorms and the amount of space in the room. The dorm bathroom was also large and clean. Amazing value and the location is a short walk to the Rainforest Discovery Centre. The breakfast buffet that is included in the price is quite good with a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. I had a really nice and comfortable stay - highly recommend!

This is an absolutely fantastic property and resort. It is true to its name: it is at the edge of the forest and one of the further-removed properties in the area, if not the furthest. The staff is extremely responsive and will help you arrange anything that you wish to arrange in the area. I stayed in one of the basic chalets (so one step up above the dormitories) and it was amazing. If you have the money and it is at all possible, skip the dormitory and get the chalet. Yes, it's a price jump, but absolutely worth it. Spotlessly clean, drinking water upon request, wonderful private deck that I was obsessed with. Restaurant is top-notch. Air-con, which is a huge thing in Borneo. You should definitely follow their recommendations and make sure that you have a slip-off pair of shoes since you'll be walking between your accomodations and the restaurant pavillion frequently. Staff is extremely friendly. Anything that's within reason you ask for, you will get.

Fabulous nature! Very good value. Main attractions within easy walking distance. We saw pig tailed macaque, hornbills, red langur, slow loris, black backed kingfisher, mouse deer, green pigeons and much more right on their property! Gibbons serenaded us every morning too. Nature lover’s paradise. The night tour was excellent too, albeit we did get bitten by fire ants and a leech-good shoes and clothes a must!
