What a charming seaside town! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking coastal views, fresh sea air, and a welcoming atmosphere. The town strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and activity — whether you're looking to unwind on the beach, explore local shops, there’s something for everyone. The locals were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the scenic coastal walks and quiet moments watching the sunset over the ocean — truly magical. The town has a lovely, unhurried vibe that’s perfect for recharging. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Hentiesbaai is for hard core outdoors people and fisherman.
Hentiesbaai is for hard core outdoors people and fisherman. It is not for the faint hearted or average type of person on holiday. Maybe it could grow on someone who really needed to really get away from civilisation. There are a few shops and a small medical centre. The SPAR was quite good for basic groceries. Love the carefree feeling even if you are not a fisherman. Walking long stretches of beach every day is food for the soul. nothing like allowing the misty Seabreeze to whisk away any negativity.
