I stayed here more then 10yrs ago and revisit this cosy gem and found it has changed ownership to the Taiwanese. Place still very well kept but slight renovation to expand the dining areas and outdoor garden was removed sadly which I loved the lawn. The cosy living sofa that used to be was also gone to my dismay but I can understand changes maybe required by new owner. I’m glad they kept 80% of the original looks and furnitures which adds to the nostalgic part of this wonderful boutique hotel which I adores.

An outstanding value for the money! The apartment's location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the port, restaurants, and the oceanfront Promenade. The communication before check-in was excellent, and the attention to detail during our stay was exceptional—from the laundry service to the secure parking right outside our door. The apartment itself was perfect for my family, featuring two spacious bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, all fabulously decorated with a chic industrial flair.

    I liked the weather, activities particularly the combo from...

    I liked the weather, activities particularly the combo from Sandwich Dune company which included a cruise, we were able to see seald which kept coming on our boat, pelicans, dolphins and we also got an opprotunity to see a whale. We then went on the sand dune drive which was a lot of fun got to see where the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib desert meet. we also saw the desert animalsthe oryx and springbok. It was a great adventure which we all enjoyed. We got to v isit the Mondesa Village Hafeni restraunt for some local food which we enjoyed

    Walvis Bay is a peaceful city/town with some great activities to participate in such as sailing on the Atlantic to spot seals and whales. It's a great choice for visitors looking to relax in a peaceful neighbourhood. Its only 30 minutes away from the old town of Swakopmund where visitors can access relaxing beach spots, tourism sites, and restaurants.

    We loved Anchors and the Raft, delicious food, amazing views and friendly atmosphere. The sunsets are magnificent and walks along the lagoon were spectacular with the flamingos right up close (low tide) Langstrand and Swartkopmond are a must, treat yourself to delicious German cuisine at Cafe Anton. Quad of sandbuggy in the majestic dunes is an exciting yet humbling experience. We found the paitrons all super friendly. I never knew I would fall in love with the desert as I have....a great holiday indeed

    The kindness of people is exceptional.

    The kindness of people is exceptional. There are a lot of different activities. It is safe (apparently some pick pockets at the harbour because of Cruises stopping). Yango app is working very well a substitute of Uber. Food and restaurants are very good (example are Anchors, Godenfang, but all the restaurants at the harbours are very good). Price quality exceptional. Sam Barnard of the tennis club is very nice. Very nice for Kite surfing at the Lagoon and Donkey beach very good for surfing. Very clean, very comfortable. The nature is amazing. No traffic, no stress, but you have all the possible comforts

    Fantastic place with many tourist attraction sites including the highest peak point of the sand dunes, Atlantic Ocean on one end with bringing cold stream from Benguela currents and on the other a taste of the semi-desert hot air.

    I am from Hermanus, South Africa. This was my first time in Walvis Bay. I was immensely impressed and content with Walvis Bay, its people, environs, environment, and so much more. There are nice second-hand stores and thrift stores to purchase local clothing and tourist items at a lower price. Shopping is great. The walks are wonderful. It is not hot as one would expect from Namibia. The flora and fauna are beautiful. Do not forget to eat at Godenfang - the most wonderful and fresh food ever. We did not have an automobile. It was easy to hale a taxi on any street to take us anywhere - even to Swakopmund, which is 30 minutes to the North. Go and have an adventure.

    An amazingly unique quality property set at the end of a peninsula. Fantastic food, friendly staff and a great NEW owner in Hilo, who has turned around a floundering hotel (if you believe the old reviews ) A drive across sand for 10km only heightens the expectations , and we were not disappointed. Driving through colonies of sea lions was an experience and then kayaking with them the next day, with Marcus as our guide, was truly magical. We will be back again!!!

    So glad we stayed here! Beautiful, comfy and very clean apartment with all you can need during your stay. Gorgeous view onto the lagoon with flamingos, close to restaurants and the start point of many tours - you can walk there in few minutes. Owners really helpful, we didn't have the chance to meet them in person but they were always easily reachable for any info. No better place in Walvis Bay!

    Cosy and secure, stylishly decorated, with everything we needed as a base for a family of three on a busy trip to Walvis Bay. Safe off road parking in a family residential area. Great hosts who went out of their way to help us. Small supermarket a 5 mins walk / 2 mins drive away for essentials. Our favourite local eateries were Godenfang and Probst bakery.

    Great location between Walvis Bay and Swankopmond for various activities. It is right at the beach. Kids loved it. It was worth everything, away from the city life for a while. I will definitely recommend it and we will also come back sometime in the future.
