Incredible location, probably one of the best views of any hostel I've stayed at in nine years of traveling. You can almost touch the water from the hostel. Listen the sound of waves all day, be constantly distracted by watching the waves all day from the hammocks/kitchen area and rooms. William and Donald are both really friendly and welcoming guys who are happy to help with anything. Cheap surf board rental, laundry available, kitchen has everything you need, it was pretty full for the week I stayed so easy to meet and surf with people as a solo traveller. Nice pussy cat will ask politely for some of any food you make.

We are 3 guys from Canada who came in Popoyo for surfing and tele work. We had an amazing experience at Mar Andentro. It’s just by the beach, the pool is great, it’s quiet for tele work, the owners and staff is amazing and the breakfast (included) at the restaurant is really good. There is Rancho Santana surf spot juste beside. There is even a yoga plateform, a skateboard area and many spot to relax by the beach or the pool. The wifi was great for tele work too.

The most beautiful place ever! The whole place has been designed with travelers in mind. Dorms have closets for each person, there is a shelf going around your bed, personal outlet, privacy curtains, a full length mirror and the room feels spacious. Everything is exceptionally clean. The staff, volunteers and owners are lovely and very helpful. Truly feels like home, I extended 3 times because I didn’t want to leave 😅 Great location, close to surfing beaches and there’s a little grocery store just around the corner. Thank you Tukasa, I can’t wait to come back!

Owner made sure to give us a comfortable time, got a free upgrade to a seaside room! Coffee and drinking water was free. We had some trouble getting off Ometepe island; the owner helped us out and was very responsive at all times. Wifi was perfect, rooms super clean and location was central
