Room was well insulated. Didn't need any heating with 2C outside. In fact had to open the window at night. Towels were changed, even though I had left them on the towel rail. Very nice breakfast.

As first customers of the hotel, we had a super experience that exceeded our expectations. Our room in the capsule hotel is tiny but with all the comforts of a regular sized room. A lot of mirrors around the room will make you feel at ease with its reduced size. A plus goes to the bathroom and the great shower. Travel time by bike : The location of the hotel will let you join the Amsterdamse Bos in 5 minutes, Amsterdam Zuidas in 10 min, Amsterdam Centrum in 25 minutes max. Great bikes by the way: ! we recommend you to use the hotel rental service. On top of that we also had breakfast for free ! :) we will consider coming back to the diamond capsule hotel in the future. Thank you

Their helpful demeanour contributed significantly to a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. The room itself was maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presenting a tidy and well-organised space. Similarly, the en-suite bathroom was impeccably clean, which is always a crucial factor for comfort and hygiene during a stay. Connectivity was also satisfactory; the Wi-Fi speed was sufficient for streaming video content, such as YouTube videos at 1080p resolution, without buffering or interruption, which is important for both leisure and potential business needs. The breakfast offered at the hotel provided a wide variety of options. This extensive selection allowed for choosing different items each morning, ensuring a satisfying and substantial start to the day, catering to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. Regarding the hotel's location, while not in the immediate city centre, it benefits from excellent public transport connectivity. A tram stop is conveniently located within a three-minute walk, offering a direct link to both the city centre and Amsterdam Central Station, though the journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. We have searched for the hotel in the last minute. Super location - quiet, Amstelveen is great suburb of Amsterdam. Since we had car, we had no problems to travel to city center. Nice staff, beds very good, everything clean. Good breakfast - eggs, cheese, salami, jam - everything.

    Reasonable cost for parking (anywhere in Europe frankly) is my motivation to look outside of centre of city areas and then use local transport or walk. Parking costs at hotels in our budget in Amsterdam city were very high - secure convenient Q-park station in Amsterveen was E18 per day compared to E40-50 a day at hotels closer to the centre.

    I loved the very name from the start!

    I loved the very name from the start! My first impressions the moment I arrived were positive, the younger lady at the reception gave me useful instructions on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, which buses and trams to take; helpful with calling the taxi; the choice of food and drinks for the breakfast was vast and abundant, the lady very discrete and kind; other persons at the reception desk also very kind and helpful; I also loved the beautiful and friendly cat waiting for me sleeping in the armchair in front of the hotel, when I arrived late in the evening, giving that "being at home" impression. Really lovely!

    I was basically in Amsterdam.

    I was basically in Amsterdam. The transfer is easy with public transports. The surround area of the Hotel is not nice. There's a empty building in one side very creepy. and in the other side there's a field full of trash and old stuff.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Close to the airport so there is a little bit of noise from the planes, but it wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed staying there rather than the busyness of the city centre, and it was cost effective.

    Use public transport where possible as its easy, clean, efficient and good value for money. Would recommend Villa Borghese and Gusto as nice restaurants for an evening out. Stadshart shopping centre has everything you need and with the Amstelveen bus station and tram stop next door you have easy bus or tram rides into the city.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon. However the people in the pizza place were chatty and smiley none the less. Can imagine it's a lovely little place to visit in the summer when people venture outside to eat on the quaint little terraces. It is very pretty

    Quiet and cozy place in Amsteelven historical part. I chose Amstelveen as the base to go to Amsterdam. With this respect the hotel is not close to direct transportation you need to walk 10 minutes to the Amstelveen bus station and take 357 bus to Amstelveen weg, get out cross the road on the left and take the metro #51 to Amsterdam Central Station and viceversa.

    I stayed at the location mostly cuz od Ziggo Dome being 10mins away by taxi. The hotel was nice, clean, had snack & noodle machines so getting food after concert was never this easy. Loved it. The room was very nice and not as small as I thought. Getting to Central Amsterdam also took one tram that is 10mins walk away from the hotel.
