Nice room very comfortable, we would have Preferred brighter lights in the bedroom, but that was not a problem. We were a little dissapointed in the breakfast buffet, very little selection. Dinner was fantastic however. Location was close to # 43 bus which took you to the Central Station for only Eur 6.50 per couple. The staff at this hotel are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Long way from AMS airport but the train runs from the Airport to the central Station. A Taxi would cost you Euro 80.00 approximately. Try this Hotel Jakarta.

10 minute walk to train station. Super hospitable and helpful staff; they pull up maps on their computer and show you how to get to destination. We had space accommodation and comfortable bed. Serving a full breakfast in cozy lobby was welcome after flying in day before. Would stay again. Thank you!

This is one of my favorite hotels so far. I love the vibe, the ambiance. It also has such a nice Lobby & restaurant. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The bed very comfortable. And we loved the details everywhere, the welcoming, nice tea and coffee in the room. There is literally thought of everything.

    I never intended to stay in Amsterdam but was stranded by KLM. I was impossibly difficult to book a room in these circumstances and the first room I booked was oversold and even though I paid in advance I was not able to stay.

    Fabulous to say we have seen Anne Frank house and the red light district. Two musts when visiting Amsterdam. Canals and vibe great. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone it’s worth the experience.

    As always it was most pleasant to visit Amsterdam.

    As always it was most pleasant to visit Amsterdam. We were near the central station and it was easy to get around on the trams. A good way of seeing much of the city is to take Tram line 2 and go for a ride. If you are travelling as a couple you need to credit or debit cards to use the trams, one for each of you which you tap on entering and on leaving the tram. A boat trip on the canals is also must.

    There are so many tourists that overtourism feels real. You have to be careful when walking because there are so many bicycles. It's perfect for seeing the works of art masters and touring the city.

    We had a lovely time in Amsterdam!

    We had a lovely time in Amsterdam! We got plenty of steps in and really enjoyed exploring the city, the walks never felt like a chore because there was always something interesting to see along the way. The architecture was beautiful, and we had some really nice food throughout our stay. Our hotel and the service were excellent, and we found people to be very friendly and welcoming. A definite highlight was the canal ride such a great way to see the city from a different perspective.

    The best location! I have travelled to Amsterdam 6 times in the last 2 years, all in different hotels. This was by far the best location, we didn’t use taxis or public transport once as we were able to walk everywhere. City centre is 5 mins away. Despite this the hotel is situated on a really quiet road on a canal which is beautiful. The staff were amazing giving us recommendations for what is nearby which is always helpful. Was overall a really lovely, clean and pretty hotel. Coffee station with a bar and snacks were a really nice touch.

    I stayed at Joy Hotel in Amsterdam from 1st to 3rd August. The hotel is conveniently located close to public transport, which makes it easy to reach the city centre and main attractions. There are also some shops and restaurants nearby, which was practical. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and basic amenities suitable for a short stay. Air conditioning worked well, which was very helpful during the summer. Check-in was straightforward, and staff were polite and efficient.

    Great location, just 5-10 min walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station and walking distance to the city centre and all it's main attractions. The room was comfy and had everything needed for the short stay. It was located on the 9th floor with views of the historic centre of Amsterdam, which was a great bonus. The staff was very pleasant and I was able to store my luggage in the hotel after the check out.
