The hotel is affordable. But the staff is really the worst.
The hotel is affordable. But the staff is really the worst. They wade shocking mistake after shocking mistake, and never felt sorry for anything. Even when that meant giving us the key of an occupied room instead of ours, which had us wake up two half naked girls in the middle of the night.. Everything was so wrong ; the key cards would almost never work. The reception hours were clearly not respected, and we were sometimes left out waiting in the night for them to actually arrive (check in is supposed to be almost 24/7, which was the reason why we had selected this hotel). Even worse, when we tried to complain, they never treated our request and never answered, even after we had issued a complaint through the Booking platform. Just the worst. The common areas are decorated to a high standard. The room was a good size with a decent view and beautiful bathroom (bath and shower). The bed was comfortable and there is a good sized TV with a large variety of stations in various languages. The restaurant was excellent; a bit expensive, but not unreasonably so. We booked by accident the wrong day, so we got 2 days earlier, when we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed with a staff member that was not in the mood to help us. We wanted to change the date and even pay extra, because we wouldnt be in the área on that day. The response from the hotel was even worse. Very very bad atitude.
