Very comfortable. Beyond our expectations. Perfect location. Very clean. The owners thought about the finest details. Very pleasant to stay. We , when in the Netherlands, only live some 60 kilometers away, though decided after a music festival to take it easy and stay overnight. We will return. Great host and hostess. An amamazing centuries old town.

Jan is a fantastic friendly host who we enjoyed getting to know a little. Location right in the harbour was awesome. Loved seeing the boats come in and out of the harbour from the sunny wheelhouse. Plus step off and you're right in the old town. The boat was immaculate and well equipped with all we needed. The steps typically steep dutch we got used to. Cosy beds. Not so good if you have mobility problems. Fortunately we didn't! Jan took us for a boat trip (extra cost naturally) which was great fun! We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Jan!

The hotel is very close to Sprookjeswonderland. In the room very cozy, clean and pleasant, my son and I slept very well. And in the morning we had a wonderful hearty breakfast (special thanks for the hot crispy buns and croissants). Very soulful and homey. I recommend this wonderful place to anyone who wants to visit Enkhuizen.

Captain Lukas is the perfect host! The ship is more comfortable than expected. All is clean. Shared toilets and showers are practical but big enough with good water pressure and temperature. Common areas are spacious and a great place to mingle with other guests. Rooms are big enough with places to storage backpacks. Beds are unexpectedly comfortable. Surroundings are beautiful with plenty of places to eat or visit. Value for money is exceptional.

    Enkhuizen has a rich history, monuments, museums and adventures to show it. We took walks along the harbor, the canals and even a park created around social housing from around 1900, fascinating! The town is a pearl. There are many nice restaurants to enjoy. Everything was an easy walk away from our accommodation near the harbor.

    It is a very characteristic place, with beautiful old buildings and narrow streets! I was just on my way through so I couldn't see the museum etc. but just driving through it, already was very nice.

    Enkuizen is a beautiful place to visit for us.

    Enkuizen is a beautiful place to visit for us. We had a great meal at Restaurant De 80 and the staff were very friendly. Clearly a popular place as it was fully booked where nearby places were nearly empty.

    Fascinating place, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. The town houses the Zuiderzee Museum, which is well worth a visit. The town centre is very picturesque with old renovated houses. We took our bikes and used them a lot whilst there, but walking is perfectly feasible.

    Very picturesque old town and harbours Very much still a vibrant living town but beautifully preserved too Cycling or walking north along the dyke gives great views of the water on one side and into the local agriculture and way of life on the land side The passenger ferry across the IJsselmeer gives a gentle day out to Friesland

    Gorgeous little apartment which has anything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Oscar and Ciska are the loveliest people. Carrying our bags to the apartment and bringing us breakfast every day (which was yummy and well presented!). They are kind and chatty and made sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality was very much appreciated and really topped off our visit to Enkhuizen. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

    Currently they are renovating the hotel. We stayed in the new part with a lovely courtyard. The rooms are spacious & the bathroom is large. The shopping street is just around the corner & many lovely streets to walk through. Breakfast was included & very good. Great coffee!!! Parking wasn't a problem for us.
