Location is perfect for a get away trip. If you are looking for a personalized experience, beautiful and calming decor with your partner or family, this is a great spot. We really enjoyed our stay in wintery Friesland. Cute and cozy little hotel with great breakfast every morning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Extra long beds are a plus. Burdaard is a quiet little place from where you can start your explorations in no time. Would definitely recommend it posthus and hopefully come back some time. Thank you for the great time, we will happily think back to it :)

The breakfasts were superb. Greta gave us something cooked everyday. The breads and pastries were varied as well and very fresh. We had different fruit and yogurts and she gave us enough to make a sandwich for lunchtime. Greta even gave us extra fresh milk as I explained that, being English, we drank a lot of cups of tea during the day. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The property was extremely spacious , well equipped and comfortable.

The location and room were amazing. The staff/owner was helpful and welcoming, making sure we could find the places we were looking for and making reservations for us for the best meal we had our entire trip! The breakfast basket was a treat and everything was fresh and delicious! I can not say enough about this hidden gem!
