The breakfasts were great, and the staff (especially the guy at breakfast) was superb. Keukenhof is close by, and Leiden is also a very nice city to visit. The "ferry" you take to the Kaag hotel is a fun curiosity for kids. It operates 24/7, is quick, and costs €5.50 per car (as of April 2025). The room was comfortable and clean and all anyone could ask for. The room tariff was very good value compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
