Kerkrade is a very nice town in the south of the Netherlands. We visited nearby places like Heerlen and Vaals and we visited the Botanic Garden in Kerkrade. Of course we needed to buy the local cake: Vlaai. Especially the Cherry Vlaai was superb!Guest review byCoenNetherlands - 8.0

We wanted to spend a week at the Landgraaf Snowworld and this was a very handy location. Very comfy and pleasant. If you come with kids, they will love the goats, deers and alpacas living behind the fence - it was amazing. In late February the floor tiles were indeed cooler , but the landlords give out individual new slippers (like in hotels), so that helps.
