The grounds are stunning, and so is the decor of the hotel. The breakfast is sumptuous! The hotel room was a very pleasing shape, as it was not square or rectangular, but had an interesting round window alcove with shutters. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had two choices of shower head. I also liked that scattered within the hotel were little seating areas and also very pretty garden areas with decorative statues and such. All in all an excellent hotel, very good value for money.

    Very central location, room was nice and bright and spacious - but windows look directly into next property. Shared tea and coffee facilities in entrance hall not very convenient. Optional breakfast in the owners cafe was exceptional - loved it - but fairly pricey. Lochem is a lovely town for a wander around.
