Lottum is a small village with a rose garden & one cafe...
Lottum is a small village with a rose garden & one cafe which opens in the evening. The nearby village of Grubbenworst provides very good meals every day of the week. Head towards Arcen & you cross the river by way of a chain ferry costing 2.5 Euros. It leaves every few minutes until about 7p.m. on weekdays & 2 hours later on a weekend. The Hertog Jan brewery at Broekhuizen is well worth a visit for a brewery tour or just a meal or drink. In Arcen the Kasteeltuinen (gardens) are beautiful. There is a cafe there for lunch. The Mind Mystery at Horst is amazing & also provides lunches. There is also a war museum which we didn't have time to visit but are told is very interesting if you like that sort of thing.Guest review byJuneUnited Kingdom
