Have been here multiple times; always a delight staying at Hoog Holten. Nice location, very friendly staff trying to let you feel honored. The quality at the restaurant is pretty impressive. Good breakfast. Also appreciated the charging point for EV's. Good value for money.

    Not the friendliest to English speakers, asked a restaurant...

    Not the friendliest to English speakers, asked a restaurant if they were open for me (husband and 5 month old baby too) and the waitress said "Yes, but not for you sorry". I think it may just be a language barrier as I unfortunately don't speak Dutch, but the supermarket attendant also refused to let us pay by card, when we saw others use theirs, so just a little strange and unwelcoming.

    Everything. the house is incredible. interior is amazing. its so quiet and peaceful outside, no noise. beautiful mornings, sun is shining through the big windows. very comfortable beds, had the greatest sleep. everything you need is in the house already-kitchen/cooking supplies. great location, shops are nearby. very family friendly. staff is amazing and helpful. so thankful i found Bospark Markelo, incredible experience and can’t wait to be there again❤️

    Location was grand, room perfect, our hosts greeted us upon arrival and were very kind, professional, and real hard working in every single aspect. This place and the hotel, by far is the best and one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and experienced during our bicycle trip in the East of the NL. Breakfast was superb.

    The hotel is located at a very nice area. We booked 2 lodges. One lodge is big enough for 4 people with full equipment for cooking. And the jacuzzi in the courtyard is super. We enjoyed it very much. It also had sauna in the lodge. The lodge is very clean and the staffs are very friendly. We had great time in this hotel.

    Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet location- perfect for our purposes. It is easy walking distance to the village of Markelo which has a good bakery, a delicatessen and two supermarkets. We had a good meal at Il Campanile.
