For me it was worth visitting Nijmegen because I was going to meet with friends there. However, I was impressed by the Vierdaagsefeest. It ended up being very fun and the city is quite nice and cozy. Unfortunately it was raining hard when we walked around the city but I guess in clement weather it would have been a more enjoyable experience. The market square was bustling and the options to eat and drink there were many. If you like coffee and cake I would recommend the Dutch apple cake which is available at most of the bars and the cafes and if you sit outside under the heated awnings are all good spots to watch the world go by!Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We went to Nijmegen to view the famous bridge of WWII Operation Market Garden fame. Nijmegan is a lovely town to walk around with a vibrant weekend market on the main shopping street. The city is very beautiful with lots to see and do. The shops are amazing and very unique, I spent far too much money!
