Schoorl is a lovely part of Holland - in summer!
Schoorl is a lovely part of Holland - in summer! The dunes are amazing (in summer), stay at Blooming Hotel in Bergen, it's a "proper" 4-star hotel, unlike Fletcher Hotel which is a 2-star hotel pretending to be a 4-star. I've stayed in nicer Travelodges. Schoorl is really a small village with access to the dunes which are famous in the area.Guest review byCarolynSwitzerland

The property is very clean and tidy. It is located just around the corner from the dune cycle path that leads to the beach. A short walk to the shops in Schoorl - where you'll find everything you need (butcher, grocers, bakery, several restaurants, and gift shops). Good restaurants and excellent shops for food. The area is great for cycling and walking. The kitchen was well equipped with a very good fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine plus all the other equipment you needed.
