The owners Michael and Maryse were extremely courteous and wonderful, helping us arrange taxi to and from the hotel, with our birthday request and sightseeing tips. The location is right next to the largest tulip field that we came across in our stay and is just a 10 minute bicyle ride from Keukenhof gardens. We will likely stay here again

    We loved our stay in Voorhout!!!

    We loved our stay in Voorhout!!! It is a small Dutch village close to many activities but set in a quiet area. Probably the best time to visit would be during the Spring when the tulip gardens are open, but we were there because of a wedding. We visited the Delft Blue factory, Maduradam, the cheese market in Gouda, the windmills in Kinderdijk, and then went north to Leeuwarden in Friesland. Voorhout is conveniently located for most of these locations. A rental car is the most convenient.
