The whole place was so clean, very beautifully renovated and comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh and healthy, plenty of options to choose from. The room itself was extremely comfortable it had a very modern but rustic look with original high wooden beams that had a wow factor. The lady that owns and runs the property was a fabulous host, very friendly and welcoming and treated every guest as if they were close friends with a welcoming smile. Very LGBT+ friendly as we are a married gay couple. Very good if like us you like to explore places. After showing our family and friends pictures they want to visit as well. We will 100% be visiting again for a longer stay next time maybe with other family and friends.

Amazing estate! Everything is on the highest level! Territory, rooms, restaurants, personnel are amazing! We had the best time. Bistro Lof has delicious food and very nice service! Exceptional service in the whole hotel! We have ordered a birthday cake and the patisserie chef of the landgoed baked amazing cake for us, exceeding all expectations!! Thank you for wonderful day!

    My hometown so yes, this was a really nice experience. Wijk bij Duurstede is a cozy little town with nice restaurants. The population is easy to talk to and everyone nicks their head or is wishing you “goeiedag” passing you on the street. Spring/summertime is by far the best time to visit Wijk ❤️ Recommend both restaurant De Engel and De Veldpoort but I’m sure the others serve great food as well.

    A wonderful country location within stone throw of lovely Wijk bij Duurstede. Breakfast is a good spread and sets you up well for the day. You can help yourself to coffee and tea in the breakfast room during the day. This is on top of the tea and coffee supplies in your room. Bed was big and comfortable. Bathroom was good size with option of standard shower or large head shower. The option to feed the Alpaca's is fabulous as it also gives you the chance to ask Walenka questions about the animals.

    Super friendly staff at the hotel and restaurant. Even made us a special vegan breakfast because there was nothing on the menu for us. Very nice room and hotel in a very nice village. Would recommend to stay here

    The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, they even rescued us when our bike broke down and brought us to the hotel. Food was excellent, particularly the breakfast. Nice setting in the central square

    Beautiful small hotel in a beautiful small village nestled in the Dutch countryside. Friendly owners went above and beyond - the breakfast included was an absolute delight which even my 15 year old loved.
