    A lovely town on the Dutch coast. Great for the beach, the dunes and access to Haarlem, Amsterdam and beyond, with regular buses and trains to both Lots of lovely places to eat (and what I believe to be the best chips in the world, at Fritures D’anvers) Wonderful ice cream at San Remo Cafe Mio Great for tapas Can’t comment much on the beach bars as we’ve not really used them A nice little selection of shops, you can get pretty much everything you need for your stay, right on the doorstep. 3 supermarkets all within a few mins’ walk of each other, plus lots of lovely smaller shops for groceries too

    Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants.

    Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants. We visited the Circuit Park. We also enjoyed visiting Leiden by train and Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage site by car. We ate at the Bella Italian restaurant near the railway station and various other places.

    We visit this area because it is close to our three grandchildren so not necessarily a holiday. But we really like Zandvoort. It has plenty of good restaurants that we like including the Grand Cafe and Andreas.

    Great location, lovely quiet town but has a few lively bars open until 3am if you want that. Stunning beach and great beach bars and restaurants. 15 mins on train to Haarlem and 30 mins on train to Amsterdam. Very friendly and would definitely go to Zandvoort again.

    Excellent location for families with wonderful amenities in...

    Excellent location for families with wonderful amenities in the local town which is a 15 min walk. The beach is a 5 min walk, we went in December and this would be amazing in the summer months. Great train connections into Harlem which I would highly recommend for shopping and eating out as it has everything from designer wear to Pandora!

    Zandvoort aan Zee is a charming seaside escape with easy access from Haarlem via train or bus. The beach is perfect for leisurely walks, and there are plenty of pools and activity facilities to keep everyone entertained. It's a haven for families—except when the race car fanatics descend, bringing their revved-up energy!

    Free parking in front of the door, very nicely decorated sweet little appartament in the center of Zandvoort. Sea at walking distance. Also very easy to find bus stop and train station. Everything was clean and everything what you need available. Hosts very nice and helpful... And of course the racing Circuit of Zandvoort nearby ! We also brought our dog for a little extra price but worth it, she loved the beach !

    Lovely Hotel, we enjoyed every moment being there. We had a Bathroom and a Bathtube in the Living/Bedroom which we used instead of the shower. I Would totally book that Hotel again. The owner even prepared the Room like i wished to suprise my lovely one. View over Zandvoort and Ocean was awesome. Breaksfast was nice Aswell , you are able to Choose between 3 "Meals".

    Great hotel, 2 minutes from the beach , friendly staff , we're used to hotels in Amsterdam and was a pleasant surprise to see the amount of space in the room , amazing bathroom and also terrace was a massive plus for us having outside space , will definitely be returning here
