A fantastic find. Lovely people, such pretty decor and warm feeling. Wonderful 3 course meal in the company of other travellers. Amazing breakfast. Lots of candles and flowers and wooden furniture, loved it. Even slippers to borrow.

Really nothing to be worried about that it is underground. The place was fantastically built and furnished. We would say that it is better value-for-buck than any hotel room in a small city could ever be. They do give you very nice PDF that has all the information about Åndalsnes restaurants, things to do, etc... 5+

A nice campsite with a great location if you want to visit Trollstigen. The cottages are comfortable and cozy, with everything you need. The shower room is spacious and the washing facilities are very good. You can park your car right in front of the house. Wi-fi connection very good. A place with a very pleasant atmosphere:)

very good place for traveling, with very beautiful mountains (cliffs on both sides), rampestreken and trolstigen are very close, I recommend, the best place to stay to see these two places, and one day will be enough

    Damn cruise ships - block the view and disgorge 1000's who monopolize the gondola.... hello cruisers, there are other people in the world you know - and we're not loud & obnoxious - come all the way from New Zealand to hear loud & obnoxious - sheesh .... Americans & aussies - not all, but enough .. how do you manage to even wipe your own ar*es Other than that - utterly utterly great place indeed .... AND do the Golden Train - OMG spectacular - literally jaw dropping scenery

    Unfortunately, it was very rainy so we could not take part in any activities. Although it was noted online that boat tours were available this was not the case -apparently it had been a failed enterprise. The train trip into Andalsnes was spectacular and worth the visit.

    The beautiful fjord town, with the turquoise blue Rauma River winding through on one side and the towering peaks on the other. It is very well connected by train to Oslo and by bus to Trollstigen and Molde airport. It is suitable as a campsite for vacations and as a hub for trips to other places.

    We had a beautiful view from our window on the river and the mountains. The bed was comfortable with a warm down duvet. The kitchens are well equipped and there is ample space in the fridges to put your stuff. Bathrooms were also fine, we never had congestion. Luckily the Romsdalseggen bus stops right across the river at Andalsnes Camping to take you to the trailhead. The Camping also has some light snacks, drinks and good as well as electric bikes for rent.

    This property is a free-standing house that has been completely modernised inside, and was very comfortable for 4 people. The photos don't do the inside of the property justice. We found it very comfortable, the host very friendly when we met him briefly, and the location convenient to the bus/train station. Wish we could have stayed longer as the area around Andalsnes is beautiful.
