The location is beautiful and very close to the zipline which led us to having the most amazing day of our whole Scandinavian adventure. We did the zipline followed by the bike ride then the fjord safari in Flam followed by the flamsbana back up later in the day. We used this as a way to break up the journey from Oslo to Bergen and I'm so glad we did. The hotel is quirky and homely with excellent food provision all day, you don't need anything else.

This is by far by biggest surprise of the year. We had such a amazing time at this hotel. It has to be a must stop during your trip to Flam. The girl at the front desk is amazing, her recommendations are the best. Also after 10 days of traveling in Norway I had the best food at this place. Hands down one of my best moments of my trip.

Great Location in the middle of the Mountains. Good start for several hiking or cycling routes. Plenty of warterfalls and a big lake are bearbeitet Excellent breakfast Extremly friendly staff Very early check-Inn was possible; the Equipment of the room is basic, but the Hotel offers all you need Free coffee all day

The location was excellent, only a few meters from the Vatnalhasen station, with superb views of the waterfall, lake and surroundings. The hotel was of its time, but comfortable, warm and welcoming with so many places to sit and relax. The buffet dinner was delicious and varied and the breakfast set us up for the day.
