This hotel sits in a semi remote area, which is placed in the forest, but not so far away from the main road (absolutely no issue with getting there while using GPS). It's really quiet there. When we arrived, it was empty (or almost empty) - we didn't stumble upon anyone else. I was welcomed by a very nice lady, who made a big pot of hot, strong coffee for us. Our room was clean, with fresh sheets and nice bathroom. We slept super well, cause it was quiet and it was not hot inside, like in many other places that we stayed in. In the morning, there was a breakfast waiting for us and when we arrived to kaffee/dining area, same lady brought freshly made eggs on a bacon - it was super tasty! We really enjoyed it. It was a nice stay in a hotel, that deserves a little bit more love and interest from customers! :) 100% recommend.

Amazing locations and facilities, delicious breakfast - my best experience ever. The choice of cheese, meet and fish dishes are great. Rooms are very comfortable, cozy and quiet.

This hotel is beautifully situated by the Tyrifjord, 5 minutes’ drive from Vikersund Ski Jumping Centre, and 35 minutes' drive from Hønefoss.

We loved the place - especially the mini-gold, the sandy lakeside with chairs and the restaurant. Beautiful place to stay on the way back to Oslo. There is even a steam train nearby.

A very unique experience with the kindest most attentive hosts. They were super responsive to any and all messages. The Yurt we stayed in was super cozy and cute.
