Spectacular location and views in stunning valley. Glass box very cool, completely relaxing. Nice touch with wine on arrival. Felt delightfully cut off - a lovely experience.

Very much worth it and great value. We rented a two bedroom cabin. Views on the lake and mountains are nice. Good to sit outside, didn't notice any mosquitoes in june, shower is small and is separated by only a curtain, but it didn't matter for us. Towel and linens are 100 nok per person. Cleaning fees could be charged according to preference (300 nok I think). We didn't need to, but depending on price and ́lenght of stay, I believe the location is worth it regardless.

Splendid location with an old world charm about it. The room was spotless as in all the Norwegian hotels we have been to, but this was more spacious, with a grand view, wide choices of tea bags in the room and a lovely restaurant to boot. We had a late train to take and they gave us a later check out without making us feel guilty about it. The staff also took care of arranging a taxi for our trip to Trollstigen as the weather was unpredictable for the next morning. Adding a picture of the view from the room. The hotel has a rich history and that adds to the appeal.

Stayed for one night. Very comfortable and clean room. Checking in and out via the automat was easy and fast. Lovely cafeteria in the shopping centre for breakfast. View from the window to the waterfront was beautiful. The accommodation matched the desctiption given perfectly.
