The basefloor of the orginal building looked renovated completly and the restaurant and breakfast where very nice. However, if you don't fancy the 1970s, still good reason for a stay; very welcoming receptionist/ manager and good self-service breakfast. Actually, you are invited to make a sandwich supper free of charge as well, comes in handy as most things are closed in Sand at night. Definitely made a mistake ordering & paying for breakfast, on BDC, basically get it yourself with no staff present, didn't eat what was left in fridge, couple cups of coffee we made.
