The nicest place we stayed in Norway during our 10 day winter trip. The room was big, comfortable and had an amazing view. The food was delicious, although not a lot of choice. Breakfast was good. The owners were very friendly.

Amazing place in the middle of the nature, absolute silence with a gorgeous view on the mountains and the fiord. The place is cozy and has all you could wish for a peaceful experience. Marianne and Freddie are super friendly and accommodating. They even start the fire for us on the second night in order for us to find the dom warm 😍. Absolutely recommended. We enjoyed the accommodation, it was very quiet, windows overlooking the bay and outdoor seating right by the water. The accommodation is very tasteful and authentic and the owner is an amazing cook. She cooked us delicious local food, which was beautifully presented. Considering that it was the last destination before our departure, we enjoyed it very much. There is a shop and basic amenities in the village and to our surprise the shop had an excellent cafe with good coffee and a boutique, where locals meet in the morning. There are several treks in the area.

Very cosy old house with tons of Norwegian charm surrounded by amazing nature in a quiet area that seems less crowded with tourism. The views from any direction of the house are just stunning. Perfect place to go and disconnect from reality, as the house is a bit away from the normal touristy paths of Lofoten. Good hiking trails nearby the house offering more lovely views and the company of reindeers on the hike. Close by is a little self-service supermarket with good selection of basic goods. The house was clean and had all the basic needs we needed and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had. On a 5 week roadtrip through Norway, this place and area still stands out as a favourite and we all wished we could have stayed forever!

The house was in a quiet area between mountains and fields which was great for a walk in the evening. You could hear the birds and the sheep walking about. The host was very helpful and communicative and the access to the rooms was with a keypad which was very convenient. You get the whole second floor to yourselves along with a private entrance and terrace.The view from the terrace was incredible at the night! The rooms themselves were very clean and cozy, everything needed was there. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Definitely recommend.
