Cool wee settlement with iconic views up the entire 90 mile Beach. Kaitia offers services that are nit avalailable here only 20 minutes away. Hoons driving recklessly on the beach spoilt the experience a little. 7/10 so worth the effort to visit.Guest review byTakNew Zealand - 10.0

Ahipara is a small town right on the Tasman sea. There was a herd of wild horses wandering the beach. The surfing looked good too. I enjoyed the quiet relaxed ambiance of this place and would recommended it over the busier bigger town of Kaitaia.Guest review bycatharineUnited States - 10.0

Ahipara is a beautiful part of the far north, we had great weather and good surf. Loved the apartment, it was warm & spacious, well appointed and beautifully kept. A fantastic location overlooking the Tasman Sea. Stunning sunsets. The owners were on holiday when we stayed this time but the lady managing the motel was amazing, helpful and friendly, made us feel special.
