Ahipara is a small town right on the Tasman sea. There was a herd of wild horses wandering the beach. The surfing looked good too. I enjoyed the quiet relaxed ambiance of this place and would recommended it over the busier bigger town of Kaitaia.Guest review bycatharineUnited States - 10.0

Ahipara is a beautiful part of the far north, we had great weather and good surf. Loved the apartment, it was warm & spacious, well appointed and beautifully kept. A fantastic location overlooking the Tasman Sea. Stunning sunsets.
