New modern accommodation in an industrial park that is excellent value for money. The room has a small but functional kitchenette. The Cromwell has a lot to offer and Wanaka is an easy drive. We thought this accommodation was a good base to explore the region from. We loved the shower but best of all, it’s very close to Sanga’s Pies which are the best we have had in New Zealand.

What an amazing stay at Lodges On Pearson Unit 1. We were the only guests that night and the host was so friendly to visit us after our check in to ensure everything was alright. It was a super fine and cold night and we managed to watch the milky view in the room. What a fantastic experience!! The night was super cold and frosting over the night however we did not feel anything in the room which demonstrated the room was nicely secured with adequate heating equipment. Thank you so much to the host for providing us such a cosy and wonderful one night stay.

So much to see and do there.

So much to see and do there. Especially if the weather is good which it wasn't for this trip. I'll be back. I would love to go one some of the bike rides and walks. Also try the four wheel driving, that looks like a,lot of fun. The history is very interesting, enjoyed visiting old Cromwell.

We stayed in Cromwell which was a short drive to Clyde where we did the Dunstan Trail. It was perfect accommodation for our needs as it was only a short drive to pick up our bikes and start the trail. We visited in October when all of the trees were in blossom so you can imagine how beautiful surroundings were especially with snow still in the background.

we go up there a lot through the year to visit friends.

we go up there a lot through the year to visit friends. heaps to do in the summer and winter is a little less but if you time it right you can see and do amazing things. like we where there for the Light up Winter festival and it was amazing. fully recommend. it's the epicenter of central Otago.

We were provided with the necessary codes and advice so our check-in was very smooth. We were met on arrival and shown to our room, which was large, with a big comfy bed. The guest lounge was super, and fully equipped. We dined that evening at the excellent Bannockburn Hotel, just a few clicks down the road. Breakfast was at the Black Rabbit cafe.

Located 5 minutes out of Cromwell, this unit is new. Everything we required was there including a washing machine. Close to lots of wineries. The owners were so lovely and welcoming. Bean bags are provided to sit and watch the stars outside on the deck, whilst sipping local wine.

A little bit far out of Cromwell. Was around 8 min drive into Cromwell town. The rooms that don’t have the lake view felt a bit to enclosed. Clean and tidy.
