Absolutely everything. The quirky decor, the beds were so comfy. The privacy, the deck, the hot tub, our own private bar with snooker table and darts, its only a stroll to town and avery good coffee shop. So close to akaroa and the touristy parts. We booked an extra night cause we loved it so much!

Beautiful setting... super clean, homey, and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, several different options for pillows (firm, soft, high, low.) My kids loved the bathtub. Shower water was hot with excellent pressure. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would have stayed longer, but it was all booked up! Marie is such a sweet person---brought us the most amazing cookies (Rob bakes them,) took the kids out into the paddock to feed the sheep, was very friendly and welcoming. The location is great---just a few minutes' drive from Little River, where there are a few small shops, and not too far off the main road. Plenty to see and do in the area, although you'll want to just stay on the porch and enjoy the view!

An amazing cottage located right in front of the water. The cottage itself is super beautiful, surrounded by green trees, colorful flowers and everything is so clean and inviting. Beds are comfy and the shared kitchen has everything you need. The cherry on top of it were definitely the hosts, Cor and Margo, who welcomed us so warmly and were so fun to talk with.
