Everything is brandnew and in top shape (Jan 2025). There is a lot of space and the view is lovely. By car, Martinbourough can easily be reached in about 10 mins. We would definitely come back.

    I loved the friendly, relaxed vibe and the great places to eat and drink. The scenery is wonderful and the place is easy to walk, cycle or drive around. Ialso enjoyed the boutique type shops and places where you could buy something just a little bit different.

    Martinborough is a beautiful town with an attractive square and several lovely cafes and exclusive shops. The Martinborough Bookshop is lively and well stocked - has just won best independent bookshop in NZ.

    Lovely peaceful accomodation within a short drive to town. Great wineries, good selection of restaurants/cafes and activities available. Loved high tea at Tirohana Estate and accomodation at Brackenridge Retreat and Day Spa.

    Sadly we only had one night in this wonderful location - dined at Tonic Restaurant (amazing menu), visited Luna Winery (lovely gardens and service - really enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir) and stayed at Parehua Resort. Perfect!

    The cottage was immaculate and the service staff were attentive in stocking up breakfast foods - we stayed 3 nights. The exterior of the cottage was in need of a good clean, spiderwebs around the windows, outdoor furniture etc and the windows needed a good wash.

    Beautiful relaxed atmosphere in Martinborough. Lovely wineries to visit with some of the best food we've ever tasted. We live in Wellington and always thoroughly enjoy our short breaks away staying in Martinborough. The mornings are so peaceful and lovely - you could hear a pin drop, it's so quiet.

    We did love the privacy and the house itself. It is very compact and fully equipped. The host is superb and very kind. This house is suitable for a group of best friends spending time together. The host provides Netflix and Wifi for complimentary. Even though the location is a bit far from the Martinborough CBD, the cozy house and the host could outweigh the distance to the town. :)

    The location is great for the town, we could walk there for dinner. Easy driving to the vineyards in the Martinborough area. The house had a good layout with a central living area, a spa pool and access to a heated outdoor swimming pool nearby.
