SingaporeOur stay with Lewis Pass Motel was a last minute decision due to road conditions in our original plan, and we were glad we stayed with them! Dani was such a lovely and welcoming host. She was very helpful over messages and prompt in her communications, which was helpful as we weren't sure what to expect with the various road conditions in place. When we arrived, we didn't feel like we were staying in a motel - we felt right at home. She prepared the room within short notice and it was clean, spacious and well equipped. The room overlooked open fields and mountains. If it's not too cold outside, it would be perfect to sit by the porch. There's a nearby town for food/ gas and some scenic walks in the area. It's a pity we were going over the pass and stayed only 1 night. It's definitely a place to unwind and disconnect from the world.
