Everything! It was easy to get to from Auckland with good instructions & Susie was there to greet us & show us around. The view is stunning. We loved the space we had & the complete privacy & quiet. The bed was comfortable with beautiful bed linen & soft towels with beach towels too. We’ve been travelling for a month so the chance to relax & prepare a simple meal was welcome although we could walk down to Tutukaka for meals & a flat white to watch the world go by. Susie made delicious margaritas by the refreshing pool - thank you - our stay was idyllic.

Exceptional!!! Views of The Poor Knights, comfortable bed, clean, great shower pressure, breakfast (granola 10/10), fully equipped kitchen, coffee pod machine, outdoor bath, books, and board games. Enjoyed lounging in the sun on the deck while eating breakfast. The location is great, close to shops, dining, beaches, and walking trails, but still beautifully peaceful. Would definitely book here again, and recommend to others.

It was a big spacious Room, nice Bed, Kitchen area and big bathroom. Everything was clean. There was a fridge and an outdoor dining area with a grill. It was very clean and everything was perfectly prepared (we booked 1 hour before we arrived and it was already late afternoon) - we got recommodations for vegetarian food nearby, the breakfast was absolutely fine and suitable for vegetarians (they even changed a few things for my husband with allergies); The Host was super sweet and very friendly

A very well equiped, clean cabin with beautiful views. We had a very enjoyable time in this gorgeous piece of paradise. Lovely beach and a very friendly host. Would defenitely recommend and would love to go back.

I already wrote the review so not sure where this bit goes that you've requested. The only thing I'd add is that it's not strictly " by" the beach, you have to walk down the steps at the side of the host's house, then along a road, first. This may not suit someone with lots of beach gear. There's a dairy at Matapouri, that's it. Next place is Titukaka, with a pereol station, small marina, a couple of expensive restaurants and a pizza place that got mixed reviews. A bit dull, especially for a winter break, in summer it's probably very busy. Probably good if you have a second property here for weekends and holidays. Ticked the box, no need to return.

Its really peaceful, the beach is very close and mostly private. The owner takes care of things that you may forget to bring such as Milk , Bread , Linen etc. (Don't forget your own linen) Its just really a fantastic place to switch off for as long as you would like.

Lovely little gem hugged by Whangarei and Tutukaka.

Lovely little gem hugged by Whangarei and Tutukaka. Local people are so warm and welcoming and helpful. They are big on recycling waste and keeping their environment clean and making sure the beaches are good as gold. The bush walks , the beaches the local night market , it has something for everyone .
