Hotel is in central location.
Hotel is in central location. Easy to find if you get lost too. Z Garage gave my latte free as they got the order wrong. Everyone in the town was talkative and friendly. Marbles buffet was the bomb and it was packed. Staff were fabulous. Caretaker beside reserved parking was friendly and gave us directions. New Plymouth is pumping with life. All the cafes and restaurants are busy, Lots of young people around making it feel vibrant and alive. its a great town with lots to do. A walk around Pukekura Park and the Bowl of Brooklands is an absolute must. The cafe in the park has the most amazing scones!! Recomment Rice Rice Baby Vietnamese restaurant. We visited just for one day with my elderly mother in a wheelchair. We took her around Brooklands zoo (free/optional donation) which was great. She also loved Pukekura gardens. We were visiting family but New Plymouth is easy to get around and theres lots of things to do if you have time. We went to the light show which was fantastic and we could walk to town from our apartment. Plenty of food places to pick from for any meal of the day. The carpet was comfy underfoot, the bed and pillows were excellent, the mini fridge was larger than most hotels, and dressing gowns were provided. They provided an option for recycling in the room.
