AustraliaFully equipped little apartment. Spotlessly clean and modern. Includes a sofa which was a great bonus - so comfortable as was the bed and the sheets felt luxurious! The little extras in the bathroom, perfect. The motel is boutique size and is located in a quiet area away from the main road. Owners were lovely. Loved it!

United KingdomOmara- more was a perfect location for our one night stopover in Omerama during our A2O cycle ride. The accommodation is first class, very comfortable and so well equipped with a lot of extras we did not expect. Karen is a great host, responded quickly to my questions and gave us lots of recommendations of where to have dinner and other things to do in the town. I would highly recommend this host and the beautiful accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

Often overlooked as a passing point to more exotic destination, this little stop over town has a few worthy attractions; the Clay Cliffs, the Ahuriri River, the Hot tub and the Glider rides etc. It is also near Twizel and Lake Ohau too.Guest review byJeremyAustralia - 10.0

There are two places to eat in the village.
There are two places to eat in the village. A hotel which caters for tour parties. The bufet looked average. The ala carte menue, which looks interesting is not available every night (barman said). It was available when I was there, but the staff seamed very reluctant to offer it. The steak was limp (looked like it had been cooked in a sous vide, but not flash fried at a high enough temperature) and everything was way, way over salted!!! I was Would not recomend it. A pleasant, quiet place to get away from the 'madding crowd'! I love the scenery and climate there and the locals we met were friendly and helpful. I recommend The Pink Glider for a meal as well as the kebab truck on the highway. Both have super staff and good food.
